In general, Zero has some great mods for the Occult in Sims 4, not just Master Magic. One a lot of players will enjoy is the ability to make a Spellcaster/Vampire hybrid. Vampire Magic requires Realm of Magic but will give vampires their own special access to the spellcasting system, making them more effective at night but having a hard time. As the witching hour draws near on the spookiest day of the year, wannabe witches begin to emerge to don their pointy hats, broomsticks, and edgy dark makeup.

Potions will be brewed, cauldrons will be stirred, and spellbooks will be read to call forth the power of the occult.

But before Sabrina Spellman or Hermione Granger normalized the “good witch” image in pop culture, history painted them as wart-nosed evil beings who love cackling through the night.

Now they’re just your average female badasses who are better off without the stereotypical cackle and abusive patriarchy. Looking to design some of this in your next Sims 4 session?

20. Witchcraft Choker

Before you start cursing and enchanting everything that moves, it’s wise to narrow down your go-to witchy look first.

For starters, witchlings must visibly wear their devotion to the dark arts.

Wearing a choker with a pentagram charm should do the trick of fending off muggles and inferior creatures of the realm.

This Witchcraft Choker from Pralinesims comes in shades of pink and yellow, but I suggest you stick to something dark and sinister to stay on brand.

19. Witchcraft Tattoo + Witch Pentagram Back Tattoo

Any tattooist unlucky enough to tattoo a witch deserves a raise for applying this much body art.

From the collarbone to the arms and further down to individual fingers, the Witchcraft Tattoo inks symbols of interest on unmarred skin.

Best of all, you can also add a pentacle tattoo on the back of your Sim. Which is one of the most well-known symbols of contemporary witchcraft.

With these marks on your Sim, no coven would be dumb enough to question your loyalty to whoever is evil enough to worship.

2016’s Suicide Squad was a hot mess.

But Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress getup is quite the bewitching ensemble.

This Witching Hour Headpiece won’t give your Sims any magical abilities. But it’ll certainly look more demonic than the headpiece on Enchantress.

Feel like a queen without a throne and slip on a crown of darkness that comes in 10 colors.

17. Cowberry Hat

No witch can be called as such without one or two conical hats stored in her broom closet.

Although traditional and common, pointy hats are still viewed as a quintessential witch accessory that has been worn by a million trick-or-treaters annually.

It’s not as creepy as a Purge mask or clown makeup. But if you intend to look alluringly wicked, this Cowberry Hat can glamour you up.

16. Sage Dress + Thyme Dress

Many moons ago, witches were often dressed in flowing black robes.

Nowadays, witch fashion is as normal as any other teenage girl’s high school lookbook.

But even though female magical entities are now wearing jeans and plaid wrap skirts on-screen, there’s still much to appreciate in the old-fashioned aesthetic.

The ruffles, layers, and laces of these Sage and Thyme Dresses are a far cry from modern fishnets and corsets.

Nonetheless, it has a unique vintage witchy look that sets it apart from a sea of Harry Potter cosplayers.

15. Bad Witch

Look, not all witches can be drawn to the light.

Sometimes being bad is just a natural reaction in wanting to satisfy our deepest desires.

I know adding a flowing black robe is a stereotypical choice for a witch.

But when you see a black dress with occult images printed on it, you’d be foolish to ignore it.

Even though this is not the White Witch of Narnia’s usual garb of snowy gowns, the Jadis Dress looks just as malevolent and intimidating.

With its floor-length skirt and deep plunging neckline, this CC exudes big witch energy worthy for a Sorceress Supreme.

13. MMSIMS’ Halo 1 & 2

Historically, witches weren’t so popular with the masses and were far from revered.

Rather than receive adoration, well… you all know what happened in Salem back in the 17th century.

Now, centuries later, the common folk are more fascinated than ever in watching witches gain eternal youth and curse newborn babes.

The shift in perception is uncanny. But it just proves that over time, witches can ascend any obstacle and gain immortality in the minds of many.

So why not throw in a halo to celebrate these goddesses of the night?

12. Witch’s Mark

Back when the justice system was continuously failing women, witches were identified and quickly judged by the presence of a “witches’ mark” or “devil’s mark.”

It would’ve been a sound plan. If only they didn’t treat moles and birthmarks as the devil’s making.

TBH, I wasn’t expecting an RPG-level of epicness from devs. But it would’ve been nice to see better and more interesting duel animations.

10. Magic Casting Poses + Casting Group Pose

Sims have a habit of forgetting to stay in character unless commanded to do so. Which makes it hard to maintain a witchy aura.

Luckily, we don’t need creepy dolls and complicated voodoo to make Sims act as who they are.

Mamalovesnuts’ Spooky Pose Pack contains a wide variety of poses depicting (slightly) exaggerated theatrics of a high-fantasy witch.

Meanwhile, the second set in the pack looks like it was taken straight out of the dance competition scene in Midsommar.

With 17 poses combined, this pose pack is enough to sustain a coven of melodramatic conjurers.

9. Simblreen 2019 Treats

Summoning a witchy look can be an overwhelming task. Especially if all you know about witch makeup is applying green face paint and calling it a day.

8. Apothecary Cabinet

The inventory of a witch is not exclusive to broomsticks and cauldrons.

With great power comes great responsibility in storing the collective knowledge of the Occult.

And for a witch, the greatest tribute to the awesome powers of the supernatural is to showcase its existence in an orderly manner.

Bramblefinch’s Apothecary Cabinet is an uncanny hub of curiosities appropriate for a witch’s dwelling.

From ancient tomes and excessively large candles, to suspicious-looking jars, this CC is your average display of haunted house must-haves.

7. Pagan Game Table

It’s a common misconception that witches have nothing better to do than murder young maidens with poisonous apples and place lifelong curses on innocent babies.

In truth, when there are no ordinary Sims to torture, they seek the company of fellow witches to battle for dominance at the pagan game table.

You know, just like any other Tuesday?

Maybe setup a game night for you and the gals.

6. Practical Magic

Some witches require over-the-top ingredients and equipment to carry out their devilish deeds, while others just want to go about their lives just like everyone else.

As the name suggests, this CC by Magnolianfarewell is a no-frills collection of clutter including everything that a level-headed witch needs – nothing more, nothing less.

Mysterious magic circle that looks like a portal to hell? Check and check!

Cupid might be everyone’s favorite Valentine mascot, but behind every twisted love story is a witch’s brew of love potions.

Dedicate a corner of your Sim’s house to the delicate art of lovemaking and have all the tools you’ll need to win the hearts of many.

4. Drifter’s Wonders

Point of view: You see a glowing crystal ball in the middle of a strange room surrounded by voodoo dolls and enslaved frogs – a clear sign that you should run and never look back.

But then you see tarot cards and wonder if a little peek into your future might be significant enough to risk getting turned into a toad.

Entering a witch’s lair is downright dumb.

But just in case your Sim’s friends are curious to see a mini museum of horrors, this CC has all the trinkets and knickknacks to make it believable.

Get to learn amusingly chaotic spells such as summoning an army of bees to attack others, siphoning the vitality of other Sims, and inflicting deadly diseases.

Enjoy releasing your own chaotic energy, but use them wisely – you don’t want them to backfire!

2. Witch Home

When you have a flying broom at your disposal, you’re bound to lead a nomadic life.

Going to wherever the wind takes you sounds like every other person’s dream to travel the world.

But there’s nothing like a beautiful home to ground you on Earth.

Give your witchy Sims prime real estate in Glimmerbrook and have them enjoy a fairytale lodging with a mystical ambiance. By far one of the best lots you could snag for a witch’s perfect life.

Although pre-built, this house mod is no less than magical.

1. Witches and Warlocks Mod Pack

If it irks you to pay for the Realm of Magic game pack, then you’ll be pleased to know about a free alternative courtesy of neilsimming.

EA has been beaten once again by the hardworking CC community with this expansive mod pack that’s more or less a game in itself.

This pack contains everything that we know and love about witches and warlocks, including new CAS items, abilities, clutter, and a mysterious quest involving a golden statue!

It also offers exclusive occult objects such as a loyal witchy cauldron, a mythical bonfire, and (of course) a magic broom closet.

And for the pièce de résistance: it has a new roster of spells to cause extreme discomfort to poor Sims.

With a mod pack this big, you wouldn’t want to wish you were anything less than a witch.

Like last time, these horns are from Dragon Age: Inquisition, where you can choose these horns if you play the ‘qunari’ race. The actual models for these horns were extracted from the game by the lovely Padme4000 on DeviantArt. The original models were made by Bioware, who made the game. I converted them to The Sims 4.
